The Scenic Group in 2019


February, 2020 Mornington

The first outing for 2020 was to Mornington with the following agenda:
1. Meeting at 3.30pm at Tom Putts photographic Gallery 139 Main St Mornington.
2. Proceed to Mark Grays Photography Gallery at 65 Main St Mornington.
3. Between 5-6 we will be at Docs Pizza Bar 22 Main St Mornington for coffee and snack of pizza or other.
4. Meet at approx. 6pm Main Pier area Mornington. People can disperse and take photos at any time.
The weather forecast is fine and sunset is 8.18 pm.

August & September, 2019 Melbourne
City – Yarra and Birrarung Marr 

This outing was completed in two sessions, one in August and one in September to cater for as many group members as possible. Those attending the August time had the option of arriving for the pre-dawn shooting.

The follow Up Meeting for the outings will be Friday 25th October at 8pm at home of Pam Rixon . Please bring a memory stick with 3 or 4 photos you want to present and discuss.

4th May 2019 – Puffing Billy/Emerald Lake 

From the organisers…. Our recent outing to The Dandenongs was certainly a challenge. The Dandenongs weather threw everything at us and we persevered and had a good day. Well done all. I hope everyone enjoyed the outing and managed to get some photos they were happy with.
The follow up meeting is scheduled for Friday 7th June at home of Pam Rixon.

3rd March 2019 – Half Moon Bay, Black Rock

The Inaugural outing for the DCC Scenic Group was on Sunday 3rd March at Half Moon Bay for a late afternoon sunset photo shoot.

Fifteen members attended the meeting.  After a hot day that saw many people still enjoying the beach, the clouds arrived followed by a cool change. We did see some colour on the water and land as the sun set and hopefully people found find plenty of photographic opportunities and were challenged particularly with some long exposures.
